1. Do the clocks come with a warranty?

Yes they do. Depending on the manufacturer, the clock comes with a minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years. Please check with us or the manufacturers website for more details.

2. Why should I buy my clock from S & S Clock Shop?

S & S Clock Shop has been in the clock business for 30 years and can assist you with the purchase of a new time piece and be there through the years for maintenance and repair. Our sales team does not work on commision so there is no pressure to buy something you don't want. We have a Guarantee that you will not find the same clocks for less money anywhere else.

3. Do you charge Sales Tax?

We are obliged to charge Sales Tax. This is to remain compliant with the law and with our re-sale agreements with the manufacturers. The Sales Tax rate is 7%.

4. Does your website show your full product line?

No. We are adding more products, from different manufacturers every day. We sell the full product line for many manufacturers, including Howard Miller, Ridgeway, Bulova, Hermle, Seiko, Rhythm, Schneider, and others. Our store is 2200 Sq Ft and we carry a large selection of all types of clocks in stock. We also have a few used and antique clocks for sale at our store. 5. What are your store hours?

We are open Monday thru Saturday from 10:00am until 6:00pm and Closed on Sundays. During the Christmas season our hours are extended. If you live near our shop, it will be well-worth your visit to come in and see what we have.

6. Are the clocks on your website guaranteed to be in stock?

Many of our products are in stock. If you purchase a clock, on our website, that turns out to be unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.

7. Where are your clocks shipped from?

Most of our clocks are shipped from Illinois but some of our products are drop-shipped to you, directly from the factory. Most shipments originate within the United States. Most clocks are shipped via the United Parcel Service (UPS). Most of our products are received within a couple of days, to one week after ordering. If this is not soon enough, we offer an Express Shipping Option, at checkout, that will ship UPS 2nd Day Air. If you would like a faster shipping method, telephone us or email us to discuss the cost of a faster UPS shipping option .

8. How will my grandfather clock be shipped?

Grandfather clocks are shipped as freight. The trucking company will contact you, the day before, they attempt delivery. Most of the time, we are able to provide online tracking information. Grandfather Clocks usually take at least four days to arrive, sometimes longer.

9. How easy is it to set up and unpack a new grandfather clock?

It is very easy! Its just a matter of unpacking it, leveling it, hanging the weights and pendulum, and starting it up. Please go to www.howardmiller.com and click on online videos.

10. Can you ship to addresses outside of the United States?

It depends on your clock selection. Some of the clock manufacturers prohibit us from shipping their products outside of the United States. Please contact us to inquire about product availability and shipping cost. Our shipping estimate does not include any duty taxes, customs fees, or any other additional charges levied by your country. All International sales are final.
